About the Rhododendron Festival Pageant
Friday, June 19, 2026:
The first round of competition at the North Carolina Rhododendron Festival features talent from the Junior division and fitness for the Senior division. Attendees can enjoy special entertainment provided by former and visiting queens, including the 2026 Rhododendron Queens. Doors open at 6:00 pm, with the Rhododendron Pageant starting at 7:00 pm.
Cost: $10/adult and $7/child. A special two-night discount pass will be available for $15/adult and $10/child. Souvenir program books and event shirts are available for purchase.
Saturday, June 20, 2026:
The final round of competition at the North Carolina Rhododendron Festival Pageant features Senior division talent, Junior and Senior evening gown presentations, and the crowning of the 2027 Rhododendron Queens. Special entertainment will be provided by former and visiting queens. Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the Rhododendron Pageant begins at 7:00 pm.

Pageant Application
Applications are now being accepted for the North Carolina Rhododendron Festival Pageant, where we will crown the 2027 Rhododendron Queens. The pageant is June 19th and 20th, 2026, at Bowman Middle School in Bakersville, North Carolina. For more details on the competition and eligibility, please see the application below!
